Biography

Dr. Bob Consor is Board Certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Optometry and certified by the Texas Optometry Board to detect and treat eye diseases, prescribe medications and perform minor in office surgery. He is also credentialed in the pre and post operative management in Laser Vision and Refractive surgery by institutions including the University of Houston, College of Optometry, Eye Institute and TLC Laser Centers.

Dr. Consor graduated with honors, Summa Cum laude  from the University of Houston,College of Optometry, Eye Institute where he serves as a member of the faculty as Assistant Adjunct Professor. He hosts and mentors student externs from the college in his office who are in their final year of study at the College of Optometry, Eye Institute. Dr Consor has also co-managed thousands of eye surgery cases, inclusive of refractive surgery and is a Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

He is a member of many societies and associations inclusive of the Texas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, National Eye Research Foundation (Contact lens Certified), Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists and certified to fit the Paragon CRT lens for orthokeratology.
