Lumineers

Similar to dental veneers, Lumineers are custom-designed porcelain shells designed to cover the front surface area of your teeth to correct imperfections such as discoloration, unevenness, cracks, and spaces between your teeth. Lumineers are bonded to the surface of your teeth using a special bonding agent that can last for years.

What makes Lumineers superior to veneers is the fact that they are much thinner and application requires no grinding down of your original tooth structure.

Lumineers Doctor’s Visit

During your initial visit your dentist will make an impression of your teeth and together you will design the smile of your dreams.

You can help influence the overall aesthetic – down to the color and texture of your new teeth.

The impression is then sent off to a laboratory where they are custom-made to your exact specifications. This process generally takes about 2 weeks.  When your Lumineers are ready, the application can take anywhere from 1-2 hours and you can leave your dentist’s office with a perfect smile.

How Long Do Lumineers Last?

Lumineers are incredibly durable and can last up to 20 years, assuming the proper bonding agent was used during application. Regular check-ups, cleanings and at-home care are also essential for long-lasting results.

If you can achieve any one of those things with a little cosmetic help – go for it! Life is too short to be unhappy with something as important as your smile.
