Biography

Dr. Kenny Carter Jr. is a board certified Otolaryngologist and specializes in the treatment of ear, nose and throat conditions affecting children and adults. His offices are strategically located to care for patients throughout Collin County and the surrounding areas.

He received a degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Carter was awarded the Kenneth D. Ball full tuition scholarship to attend medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.  After medical school, he completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose and Throat) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He returned to Texas to join Collin County ENT and is now a partner in the practice.

While his practice performs many common procedures such as tonsillectomy and ear tube placement, other services include minimally-invasive techniques to diagnose and treat sinus disease, snoring/obstructive sleep apnea, allergies, hearing loss, voice disorders, & tumors of the head and neck. Collin County ENT provides comprehensive allergy testing, allergy shots & sublingual allergy drops, as well as Hearing Aid evaluation, dispensing, and troubleshooting. All aspects of facial plastic surgery are offered including rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, Mohs surgery reconstruction, facial fillers, & the latest in laser skin resurfacing. Many procedures, such as balloon sinuplasty and cosmetic cases can be comfortably performed in the office.

Dr. Carter’s research has been published in national peer-reviewed journals and his practice participates in cutting edge clinical trials.  His patients appreciate his approachable personality and expertise in a wide variety of ENT conditions. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, outdoor fitness and traveling.
